Brickhouse Pizzeria adds weekend breakfasts | Business

Though Brickhouse Pizzeria serves wood-fired hand-tossed pizzas seven nights a week in Northeast Portland, it now serves breakfasts on weekends as well.

There are lots of great breakfast items to choose from: breakfast sandwiches ($6.95), eggs benedict (one person I talked to said this was the best she had ever had), omelettes, breakfast pizzas (two options: breakfast burrito, or country sausage and scrambled eggs) and more. My favorite, pancakes (pictured above with bacon), are $4.50 for three plus $2.50 for a meat side.

Children ages 5 and younger eat free from the kid's menu. They can choose from French toast, granola and milk, pig in a blanket and more. There's Barq's root beer on tap for $1.75, with free refills!!

For adults, there are Bloody Mary's ($5.25) made with Hood River Horseradish, Mimosas ($5.50), plus a full bar.

There are off-menu breakfast specials too. One day Brickhouse offered ham and cheddar cheese crepes, another day they offered apple and mascarpone cheese crepes.
