Protestors: Just say no to new Planned Parenthood

Picketers gather outside a new Planned Parenthood in Portland, Oregon. Portland's KATU TV has the story.

NORTHEAST PORTLAND - Protesters are out in force on Northeast MLK Boulevard protesting the grand opening of the new Planned Parenthood clinic at the corner of Northeast MLK Boulevard and Beech Street.

The move by anti-abortion protestors comes after the original construction company for the Planned Parenthood clinic pulled out of the project in mid-2008. Company executives cited pressure from pro-life groups.

The developer reportedly then pulled together a team of its own contractors. The move ended up saving the project an undisclosed amount on construction costs.
